Time to lock in.
I have a huge enemy to slay. A top opp. And every day it gets worse and worse, they grow bigger and bigger. Large swathes of text persue me like steps in a desert. How desolate it is to be followed by no one except the one hunting you.
The persuit is on, today it is only one, in fact less than one, wave of type. At least i don't have to write anything yet. I need to destroy this text-wall and break past its guard so i can begin to build from its pieces a scafolding from which to hang on, and from which to guide me.
I have finally caught my attention, in its own lair. In its own eyeballs from which all other thoughts arise. Finally, gazing in my enemy's two eyes, i conclusively 發現. My realisation is such: this beast is unlike us mere humans. No. My enemy has eyes, seemingly in the back of their head. They watch like a fly - with a window into every corner of the room - they involve themself. They peruse; they patrol. They think they pursue but in fact it is i that has gone after them. They are the wagon-wheel of my heart, the wonderer, 不要問ta從哪裡來.
It wonders everywhere, from childhood it has done so.
Like a virus. Parasitically weaving its way into me so that i pay attention to it. But i have been indebtted for too long, to its usurous looks. Its sharp glances.
The only way to take a stand against attention. Is to stand to attention.
It goes without saying you can't look back.
