What does drought mean?
There is a drought in london. The grass in parks is withered and dying. No longer its greeny self. I felt my lips dry up aswell. Initially, i thought it was the early coming of authum because of the abundance of browney-orange leaves.
Drought means a lack of 靈感; Ineptitude in the face of inspiration.
Instead of a foggy spring, drought brings instead almost too much clarity. Its like when you wear your finest clothes but then have nothing to wipe your hands on: at that point you wish that your clothes were less exquisite. This state of affairs could also be compared to an uncertainty caused by too much certainty.
It's not that you are not able to see the woods through the trees, you can see all too well -in fact you simply see through everything. You see it for all its contradictions, all its hipocracy etc. Thats how i feel towards london right now.
Like when you have been doing something for so long and you can't step back and analyse what it was you were doing in the first place. Why did you start?
I guess drought is just another word for a rut.
