市港香
If we got one thing from that particular moment in history when Britain decided that it didn't want to take responsibility for the world anymore -it happened on the other side of it.
Along Victoria Harbour lies an aparantly 'fragrant' smelling port city called Hong Kong. They happened to make the best movies in the world at that time.
Back then, they engaged with stupid things like gambling, smoking and playing with knives. But, regardless, they still happened to be undeniably cool. At present, basically all their movies are free and on youtube for anybody to watch. So there is no reason to ever go to the cinema ever again since you could just watch 'Super Cops'超級學校霸王.
The copyright laws must have disolved after the 1997 handover where Hong Kong left the British Empire to return to the middle kingdom (Reople's Republic). It is said that the Hong Kong film industry collapsed due to overwealming piracy (not the shwashbuckling kind). The asian financial crisis probably didn't help either.
