How do we avoid unwanted attention?
This is a question of obfuscation, camoflague, avoiding detection, distraction.
This isn't about online, don't get your nickers twisted.
And its not about war either.
Its the simple conundrum of fame and popularity.
- that state that all people wish they were in, in where others are thinking about them.
The question is not one of attention because its concern is about being the centre of attention.
The spotlight can be a most frightful place to be caught in; It seems any variety of virality can quickly descend into notoriety.
It is often said that any type of publicity is good publicity. But what if publicity was not originally sought?
Then, your object of desire becomes the attention of others no longer, conversly, devoid of it.
How can attention be rendered ineffective, inefficient, inapt or inattentive? This question is shady by necessity. Implicitly, it is inextricably dark.
It might not seem deceptive, if you desire, not to leave any false impressions, only to be impressionless. But even in that case there is an implied infraction - that is to leave no trace. To be unexpressive is an act heartless upon the impressionable.
Even in its most unimpressive instance, to avoid these ogles requires one to rob beauty from out of the eye of the beholder. To wear a hood is to hoodwink.
Its not always l'infer as it is always suspected. Sometimes, you overestimate the amount of attention you gain from other people.
When you think people are looking at you when they are not its called paranoia.
But when those people are pretty women its called hubris.
